Dean Gittleson is the founder of Econolytix. He has spent the over thirty years in the manufacturing and financial products industries. He has been a successful entrepreneur, banker, and consultant, and is respected in the many industries he has touched for his business operating knowledge and leadership skills.

After retiring due to the early onset of Parkinson’s Disease, Mr. Gittleson selectively works with banks and bank clients to workout knotty problems resulting from today’s economic realities. Recognizing that emotions need to be set aside and appropriate and realistic solutions need to be ascertained to settle creditor/debtor issues he has been very successful working with debtors, lenders and agencies such as the SBA reorganizing and rejuvinating tired businesses.

Mr. Gittleson has been active in politics since college. He was a student volunteer for the 1980 Reagan presidential campaign and was Chairman of the Business Leaders for Carly Fiorina during her 2010 run for United States Senate. He is currently supporting Jon Huntsman in his quest for the 2012 republican nomination for President.

Mr Gittleson has been active in the fundamental study of the economy and stock market for thirty years and will post his opinions and market positions as part of this blog.

Mr. Gittleson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a certified public account licensed to practice in California.
